Our36 foot state-of-the-art indoor climbing wall has been a great addition to our recreational facilities. It provides a wonderful opportunity for climbers of all abilities to work out physically, work off built up stress, and work on building closer bonds with friends, all in an adventurous, yet safe environment. All current students, faculty/staff and their families are welcome to use our climbing wall FREE of charge anytime the wall is open (see schedule). Everyone who climbs our wall must have on file a signed copy of our Indoor Climbing Wall Waiver Form. Those under the age of 18 must have that form signed by a parent or legal guardian.

No previous experience or certification is needed in order to climb. CU Belay Certification is needed though for all those who belay others. Belay Certification Classes and Belay Certification Checks (for those who were certified here last year) will be offered during the first few weeks of each semester. Our Wall Supervisors will not be able to belay everyone who comes to the wall. We would recommend that anyone who plans to climb on a somewhat regular basis become belay certified. Sign up for a Belay Certification Class in person at the Recreational Activities Equipment Room Window (across from the climbing wall). This equipment room is open during the normal climbing wall hours.
