Matching Gift for New Tennis Facility Announced
A $300,000 matching gift from an anonymous donor, and another $100,000 gift will potentially allow Cedarville University to construct new tennis courts. The cost of the project will range between $800,000 and $1 million.

The facility will be equipped with lights for each court, allowing for evening play and expanded practice opportunities for student-athletes.Three of thecourts will also double as12pickleball courts for student and faculty use.
“We are thrilled tohave received these significant investments in our tennis program,” said Chris Cross, vice president for athletics. “This facility will provide our student-athletes with a top-tier environment to train and compete, and it will be a tremendous asset for our campus community.”
Cedarvilleofficials hope the new complex will attract regional tournaments and bolster recruitment efforts for the Yellow Jackets’ men’s and women’s tennis teams.
Fundraising efforts are ongoing to secure the remaining $400,000 needed to complete the project.Each dollargivento this initiativewill be doubled in impact and help a new generation of Yellow Jackets compete with excellence as theystand for the Word of God and the Testimony of Jesus Christ.
