Largest Career Fair in Greene County at Cedarville
Unique to this career fair, which will be held on February 23, is Honda's decision to showcase its Acura NSX vehicle at the fair--a car that was partially designed by two 2014 graduates from the industrial and innovative design program.
Thefairwill be held from 11 a.m. till 2:30 p.m. in the Doden Field House. Registration for the event is now open at cedarville.edu/careerfair.
Organizationsscheduled to attend include Honda, Hyundai, Premier Health, Columbus Police Department, Samaritan's Purse, and the United States Secret Service.
Unique to this month'scareerfairis Honda's decision to showcase its Acura $170,000 NSX vehicle at thefair--a car that was partially designed by a pair of 2014 graduates from Cedarville's Industrial and Innovative Design program. The NSX will be on display inside the Doden Field House and it's expected to draw interest among prospective employees who attend the event.
Grad school representatives from across the country will also come to thefair, seeking to connect with students who hope to continue their higher education. Cedarville’s own graduate programs will be represented as well, including the M.S.N and Pharm.D programs.
Jeff Reep, director ofcareerservices, urged all college students to attend thecareerfair, even freshmen and sophomores. “Every time a student goes to acareerfairthey become more confident, more prepared to communicate theirstrengths, and well prepared for futurecareeropportunities.” said Reep.
He stressed that students will not only be connected with potential employers but also gain valuable experiences. “Students will learn to understand the types of questions that may come up in future interviews.”
To help students prepare for thefair, CedarvilleCareerServices will offer workshops and classes leading up to the event, including a resume polishing workshop on February 9.
