Cedarville University will host a livestreamed town hall discussing the COVID-19 vaccines on February 9 at 3 p.m. EST. Tune in through Cedarville’s Facebook page or the university’s website.

The 60-minute town hall will feature infectious disease expert Dr. Zach Jenkins, associate professor of pharmacy practice, and Dr. Misti Grimson, medical director for Cedarville’s upcoming physician assistant program and assistant professor at Cedarville. Mark Weinstein, executive director of public relations, will host the event.

The purpose of the town hall is to help people better understand the potential spread of the coronavirus pandemic and the vaccine rollout.

“From news broadcasts, to articles, to social media, the information about these vaccines has been overwhelming,” said Jenkins.

“Some of this information has been accurate, some has been inaccurate, and some has been just plain confusing. We will discuss what the evidence shows and what we still have yet to learn.”
